Been a busy week, already, and it's only Tuesday!:)
Yesterday I had iontroducation day with the HR-management programme (towards a bechelor's degree) that I'm gonna study at Lund University the enxt three years. It was nice. A bit stressful though since I'm working full time at the student union of Malmö (another) university, which is also starting up this week. So I had to go into work first, really early, to get some work done and answer a ton of e-mails. (I answered some on Sunday night but some I had to use the scanner for and I have no scanner at home....). But the intro was nice and I'm looking forward to the different courses and my first lecture tomorrow! First I have a 5-hour meeting at work though...
Yesterday Malaika attended her first sscout-meeting. (my second, she was with her daddy last week). It was really windy so we had to cancel the sailing plans and imporvise some kind of meeting inside instead. With a group of 13 wild pre-ttens and a three year old it was kind of tiring. But fun!
Today we spent the evening with my friend Anna and her husband Seta and their son. They live in the neighbourhood so we could actually walk there:)
Tomorrow we'll have a quick visit from Malaika's grandmother.
Need I say she's looking forward to that?:)
I've also managed a visit to the gym today. I ran 10km on the threadmill! in 67 minutes. i'm quite pleased with myself!
I've actually lost 11 kg (24lbs or 1st 10 lbs) since christmas now! Yey me!!!!!
One more stone (14lbs or 6,3kg) to go then I'll be more than satisfied!
I'm still on Low carb High Fat and loving it! I go off it all the time though, weekends, vacations, visits to friends named Anna on a Tuesday night... But I always get back on. And although my weight fluctuates up and down it always goes a bit more down than up!
I started making LCHF-bread/biscuits this week. Already made my second round. They're great. Reciepe will come shortly!
Good night!

The Youth of Today!
To all of you claiming that "today's youth" is respectless etc let me give you the following anecdote from "real life":
Malmö, Sweden, down town, during the annual festival. Around 11pm. I'm getting into a buss to go home with Malaika sleeping in the buggy. A whol gang of "today's youth" 818-20 year old men) are sitting right behind where you're supposed to put the buggy. They're singing quite loudly. But when I enter one of the guys (end the rest follow) exclaim "eeeyyy guys, be quite, shut up, there's a sleeping baby!" and he keep telling everyone to shut up and ultimately they're telling the whole buss to be queiet because Malaika is sleeping. It's not until I say "well guys, thanks a bunch, but once she's alseep you could fire a granade next to her so you guys jsut keep on singing, ok!" they start singing again (I'm not drunk I'm allergic to Pollen (mel. we all live in a yellow submarine" *lol*)
When they get of the busthey all wish me a nice evening and one of they guys, who misses to do so, actually COMES BACK to the bus door just to tell me to have a nice night! I love the youth of today!!!!!!!
:D
Before this happened we spent the afternoon with an old friend of mine at her boyfriend's place, they ahd a small aprty.
Malaika has also been to her first (but hopefully not last) Hoola Bandoola concert (my second!). It was great and Malaika actually enjoyed it at least for the first half hour! Then, being 3 yers old, she got quite bored:)¨She didn't really get why the old men with guitarrs were that interesting:)
Good night!

Yarn!
Well, I decied to have a blog-break but now I'm back! Tonight it's Friday and Malaika and I decided to have a carb-orgie. Pizza, crisps and chocolate, and pepsi. I do that every now and then to remind myself that it's not as good as I remember it and that I feel like crap after it.
The sugar rush is good while it lasts though:)
Malmö Festival starts tonight and I'm looking forward to a concert with Hoola Bandoola Band tomorrow and Emil Jensen on Sunday and Miss Li and Orup Tuesday night and maybe The Ark next Friday (if I can stay awake that late:D)
And yeah I got my new car! It's nice! And NEW! Thank you mum for helping me witht he cash deposit! Now I need some suggestions on where I could go with it??
Last week when i didn't have a car I could think of a thousands places and now I can't think of a single one haha!
Next Monday (10 days) I'm starting my new university studies. I'll start studying towards a bachelor in HR-management. First course is sociology. I'm already eagerly reading up on Marx, Weber, Durkheim and Simmel. SO looking forward to studying again!:)
Here are some pics of Malaika lately. The first two taken tonight during the sugar rush when she found my abandoned yarn-basket and an equally abandoned half-finished glove:D
Now I'm gonna watch a lecture on Unconditional Parenting by Alfie Kohn before I go to sleep (realy nerdy I know but he's just brilliant! He's like Jesper Juul but in an understandable language (aka not Danish lol))
Enjoy!

We're alive!
No, we haven't gone underground or disappeared from the face of the earth. I just started working again after the summer vacation and we've been reall busy. In a good way! It was just as nice as I thought to go back to work again! Nice to see all the old collueges and nice to get to know the new ones! There are three new student representatives this year, and they're all very nice! They feel like good friends already!
This week, up until Wednesday, Malaika was supposed to be with her dad. But he cancelled yesterday. A bit late in my opinion but what can you do? I don't mind spending more time with my daughter!!
It was pouring outside this afternoon so after pre school we went home and had some supper and baked a mud-cake. Yummy! Too yummy!:) Then the rain stopped and we went for a long walk down to the little boat harbour. Malaika loves watching the boats, she wants to go there every evening! Then she fell asleep in the buggy on the way home, as usual. So now she's sleeping soundly in my bed and soon I will be doing the same!
I'm now looking forward to Wednesday, when my sister will be visiting from London, and Thursday-Friday when I'm off to a kick-off with work and Sunday when we'll be going to Malaika's pre-school mate's 3-year birthday party. Wiiii!
It's gonna be a crazy but fun week!
lotsa löööv!
