I'm going back on my low carb high fat diet now after watching a lecture with Annika Dahlqvist (in Swedish). Ive been on it the whole time but been cheating a lot lately, but now I'm planning on being "Good" until christmas at least.
This is on today's menu:
Breakfast
Bacon
Fried egg
Coffee with milk
Lunch
Two hamburgers (just the meat) with feta cheese sallad (feta cheese, cherry tomatoes, cucumber, red onion, green pepper)
Water
Dinner
Chicken casserole (chicken filé, feta cheese, cream, cherry tomatoes)
Cauliflower rice (grate cauliflower and boil for 20 seconds!)
Feta cheese sallad
Sparkeling water
Yummy!:)

I've heard her too. She was like a passionate pastor preaching the true faith to the masses. She didn't give a serious impression, she didn't present any scientific basis to support her theories.
ReplyDeleteOh.. well.. one badly structured study from Karlshamn following a non-randomized selection of patients with diabetes. The patients not loosing weight were excluded and the report was, of course, focused on blood sugar levels.
I hope she has improved.

Karin who?
ReplyDeleteWell can't say that I found her lecturing skills terribly impressive, that's true, but that's hardly the point.
The point is that what she's daying makes sense to me and I fuction well on LCHF diet. Others function well on weight watchers. It's up to the individual I suppose.:) (though I doubt anyone functions well on pulver diets:))
