Twice a year the local office of the company that owns all the apartment buildings in this area, (and many other areas in Malmoe, it's the biggest company of its kind in Malmoe) organise for two big containers to be brought to this street and then everyone in the neighbourhood can throw away everything they want. Mostly they also ahve an "exchange corner" where people leave stuff that they don't want anymore but maybe someone else does. And then they have a grill and give hot dogs to all the children. It's really great.
So today I've thrown away my very old patio-furniture and also got myself a childrens-sleigh and a scooter for Malaika and a CD-shelf for me. All for free. Terrific!
Malaika is really tired today since she fell asleep so late last night. She's been breaking down in tears for nothing the whole afternoon. Not like her. So now it's time for bed!
